I see such a stark contrast between the religious people and the broken people. The religious people in Jesus' hometown seemed to love Him...until He pointed out that God loves Gentiles as well as Jews. The broken people simply needed Him and cried out to Him with no reservations. I know which one I want to be!

I found it interesting that he compared his home town to Capernaum, and how he would do miracles there that his home town would want, and that was the next city he went to. I was also struck by Jesus' words, "I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent". That word "not" jumped off the page at me and think came right after it. Wow!
