Genesis 30:23 She became pregnant and gave birth to a son and said, “God has taken away my disgrace.” - I know that the name Joseph means to enlarge or add to, but I find it interesting that Rachel makes this statement about Joseph. In the end Joseph took away his brothers disgrace. Joseph, the fiance of Mary took away Mary's perceived disgrace. I thought this was an interesting connection.
