Today's Reading

Today's reading in Joshua moves like an action adventure book. It is full of points about listening to God, being courageous and obeying what God says. Which part speaks the most to you?

Luke: which character would you be in the story? The Prodigal or the older brother? Why?

Today's Psalm is a clear window into the heart of God. He longs for us to follow His ways, not because He's the boss, but because His ways open the door for His rewards.

Proverbs is an echo of Psalms, except the relationship is between children and their earthly parents.

What are your thoughts today?

  1. I think Joshua shows how a nation can be held accountable for the actions of some. Do not try to steal from God, he has made that clear in several places in the bible.

On the other hand, it is encouraging how a town could be destroyed and yet spare an openly sinful woman and her family because of a promise.

It is Easter, and it is encouraging that Christ promised He would come back for me. I know He keeps His promises...
